AMBASSADOR PROJECT

Our students during the third period will take on the role of ambassadors of one of the biblical cities. This project will be the continuation of the current Moisés project (Social Networks), in version 2.0, where the student, as representatives of the city they chose, will use the content of the book to prepare their speeches that they will present during classes. 

In our classes we will work with the skills of public speaking. These skills are:

1. Accent. Don't try to speak with a foreign accent when you have a native audience.

Note: However, the inclusion of the English language will be encouraged in some moments of the speech that the students prepare.

2. Voice modulation. You must ensure that you make the necessary variations in your voice. There are certain words and sentences in which the tone of your voice plays a vital role. If you have great content but your voice modulation skills don't match, your entire speech could go to waste.

3. Facial expressions. Without expressions, the audience will not find your speech interesting. If your expressions are correct, then you have the ability to influence the mood of your audience.

4. Hand movements. Many speakers simply keep their hands on the podium and talk. This is never a good idea. Always use hand movements. If these movements are well coordinated with your speech, it's like a bonus!

5. As for the content, make sure it's not just facts and other boring stuff. Make sure to lighten the mood from time to time.

6. Respect your audience. Try to interact with your audience, make them feel comfortable. Never make fun of your audience if some seemingly unimportant question arises! Rather make them feel that it is common to ask such a thing and it is no big deal. This will encourage them to interact more, resulting in a more receptive and attentive audience!

Nuestros estudiantes durante el tercer periodo, tomaran para si mismos el rol de embajadores de alguna de las ciudades biblicas. Este proyecto será la continuación del actual proyecto Moisés (Redes Sociales), en la versión 2.0, donde el estudiante, como representantes de la ciudad que escogieron usará el contenido del libro para preparar sus discursos que presentará durante las clases.  

En nuestras clases trabajaremos con las habilidades propias de la oratoria. Dichas habilidades son: 

1. Acento. No intente hablar con acento extranjero cuando tenga una audiencia nativa.

Nota: Sin embargo, se motivará a la inclusión del idioma inglés en algunos momentos del discurso que los estudiantes preparen.

2. Modulación de voz. Debe asegurarse de hacer las variaciones necesarias en su voz. Hay ciertas palabras y oraciones en las que el tono de su voz juega un papel vital. Si usted tiene un gran contenido pero sus habilidades de modulación de voz no coinciden, todo el discurso podría desperdiciarse.

3. Expresiones faciales. Sin expresiones, la audiencia no encontrará que su discurso sea interesante. Si sus expresiones son correctas, entonces usted tiene la capacidad de influir en el estado de ánimo de su público.

4. Movimientos de las manos. Muchos oradores simplemente mantienen sus manos en el podio y hablan. Esto nunca es una buena idea. Utilice siempre los movimientos de la mano. Si estos movimientos están bien coordinados con su discurso, es como un bono!

5. En cuanto al contenido, asegúrese de que no sean sólo hechos y otras cosas aburridas. Asegúrate de alegrar el ambiente de vez en cuando.

6. Respete a su público. Trate de interactuar con su público, haga que se sientan cómodos.¡Nunca se burle de su público si surge alguna pregunta aparentemente sin importancia! Más bien hacerles sentir que es común preguntar tal cosa y no es gran cosa. Esto les animará a interactuar más, ¡lo que resultará en una audiencia más receptiva y atenta!
